Purpose

Component Manufacturers often need to collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors and home owners. In order to do this effectively they need to be able to send layouts in a format that can be easily accessed and viewed. This feature allows others to review a 3D layout without needing access to Truss Studio.

Prerequisites

An existing layout

Steps

 
  1. Create or open a layout.
  2. From the Output menu, select 3D PDF Export, click , or right-click to select.

The Save window displays.

  1. Save the file in the desired location and click Save.
